Polyglycolic Acid is a synthetic polymer composed of homopolymers of Glycolide (100%).
Features:
• Minimal tissue reaction and has excellent handling properties.
• Coating ensures Smooth tissue passage.
• Mendglyde Fast sutures absorption takes place through hydrol sis completely y in 40 to 42 days.
• 70% of tensile strength is retained for 3 days and 50% till 5 days.
Primary packing:
Each Suture is wound and packed in a leakproof Aluminum Foil pouch. Each such aluminum pouch is further packed in a peelable overwrap pouch made of Medical Grade Paper and Laminated Polyethylene film.

USP 6/0 to USP 2.
